Meet Walker Banks, Chief Operating Officer for PortPro. A solution seeker by nature, Walker leads PortPro’s team of operators in implementation, customer support, finance, accounting, and human resources, ensuring the business not only meets but exceeds customer expectations.
A life-long student of business and international relations, Walker understands the unique factors driving the logistics industry – particularly the first mile where the drayage community operates, and is plagued by manually-driven processes.
He holds an MBA from George Washington University, an MA from Chapman University in International Relations & Global Affairs, and a BA from Eckerd College in Political Science. Walker is also an experienced, competitive sailor. A Corinthian world champion, he sailed for two years on the World Match Racing Tour with 36 Below Racing, a New Zealand-based sailing and racing team.
